Telgar Weyr
[ ]The Weyrbowl
Telgar Weyr's weyrbowl is kept snowfree by drudges, though during winters this task is almost impossible. But, on the otherside, snowdragons are a lot of fun to make. Fires are kept burning here to provide heat.

[ ]The Weyrlake
Usually frozen over, especially during winter, this lake is supplied by a river leading from the mountains. While some dragons like breaking the ice, most find it too cold and instead use the manmade bathing holes with heated water inside the Weyr. There isn't a lot of fish, but at least you can skate as long as you don't go too far from the shore.

[ ]The Feeding Grounds
Runners and herd beasts are kept in this fenced of area just outside the Weyr. The snow is cleaned away as soon as it falls, considering the mess it makes when there is snow and a dragon decides that yes, it's very hungry.

[ ]The Stables
The runners belonging to visitors and those used by Weyrfolk are kept here. The sleds are also stored and maintained here.

[ ]Dining Hall
Everyone's gotta eat. There is something hot to drink here at all times, from klah with a bit of a punch to heated beverages more suited for red-nosed, chattering teeth children. The Weyr holds its celebrations here and meals are served three times a day.

[ ]Kitchens
Perhaps the warmest spot in the entire Weyr, the fires are always burning and if you happened to have missed a meal you can always try and beg something of the kitchen workers here.

[ ]Infirmary
This large hall is always busy, there are private rooms and there are also baths with tepid to cool water to treat frost bitten weyr denizens. Right next to the human infirmary is the dragon infirmary, with wallows and cots for injured dragons and their riders.

[ ]The Bar
Everyone needs a stiff drink every now and then. The bar is usually at its busiest during the evening and early night, but durent most of the day people can be found here drinking, having something very greasy to eat or playing a game of dragon poker.

[ ]Weyrfolk Quarters
There are individual weyrfolk quarters available, but there are also communal sleeping halls, which are especially popular during winter. In these halls are hollow stone platforms with fires burning under them to keep them warm. Up to fifty people can be found snuggled up asleep here when the weather gets really cold.

[ ]The Dragonrider weyrs
Dragonriders have their individual weyrs, but may share with their chosen weyrmates. Since their dragons have such a warm coat, they don't need to use the communal sleeping halls and can simply curl up next to their lifemate, but they are also welcome there.

[ ]Candidate Barracks (2 sub-boards)
The candidate barracks have one large common room, a classroom, one office for the candidate master, one for the assistant candidate masters and have the girls' rooms on one side, the boys' on the other. There are five people per room, but this may increase if the influx of candidates increases beyond capacity.

Due to whers' photophobia, their handlers are stationed in the lower caverns where bright lights can't reach them until they're ready to go out when it's finally dark again.

[ ]Lower Caverns
The storage rooms, craft rooms and, after much painstaking work, the heated dragon bathing areas. These inside bathing areas have large openings leading to the Weyrbowl but are shielded with heavy, thick curtains to keep the worst of the cold out.

What's the time, Mr. Dragon?
Year: 2005
Season: Spring
Month: Third

It's been unusually cloudy and windy for this time of the Turn. On top of that, the temperature seems to have dropped again and it keeps on threatening snow. Oh joy.
